Blundells' Year Away

Wednesday 15 December 2010

My beautiful ladies from this year's crafting mornings came over last night. We were there to teach those needle felting admirers who hadn't learned the skill yet. The sweet and patient talented Marion Chow taught us how to do an angel. The range of angels was absolutely fabulous. From Boticelli to Madeline the school girl there were some amazing creations. Even Connor did one. His was so great and now sits atop our tree. My angel had blonde and black hair and is knitting. It's my friend SLV because to me she is the chief angel at that school.
It was a perfectly beautiful evening. About 18 women came. They are all so lovely and after they left and we cleaned up Ian and I sat in a veritable slump of melancholy. We will miss these people very much. Everyone is just so very lovely.

Your knitting angel misses you, and has already knit two hats since your departure. x
